THE BUSINESS CHALLENGE
Grow the business.
Bring the operation
with it.
Go Green Taxis needed leadership across the whole business: winning demand, retaining customers and planning the people and investment required to deliver.
Mark’s role covered the full CEO remit. Strategy, marketing, operations, customer experience and financial planning were connected parts of the same job. Increasing marketing investment had to make sense alongside delivery capacity. Improving retention had to support the wider commercial plan.
Over 48 months in the CEO phase, annualised revenue grew from approximately AED 23.28m (£4.8m) to AED 29.11m (£6m). The relationship continued on a consulting basis from 2023, with annualised revenue subsequently reaching AED 46.57m (£9.6m) at the monthly level reported in October 2026.
This story reflects Mark’s experience as an operator and consultant, and the breadth of expertise he brings to Activ-8’s client work today.

THE WORK / SEVEN CONNECTED DISCIPLINES
A full business remit.
From decisions to delivery.
The engagement covered the responsibilities that sit across Activ-8’s core management, commercial and operational services.
Business strategy with full CEO responsibility.
Mark took a full CEO role, with responsibility for the business as a whole. The remit connected the commercial growth plan with the operational and financial decisions required to deliver it. Revenue goals, investment choices and delivery capacity belonged in the same conversation.
That meant setting priorities across the business, judging where attention and resources would have the greatest effect, and turning the growth ambition into practical management decisions. The consulting relationship continues that work with a focus on the next stage of expansion.
Explore management consultancyLeadership across the whole operation.
The CEO remit extended across the teams and functions needed to run a growing taxi business. Commercial decisions had to translate into clear direction for the people delivering the service, with leadership connecting day-to-day performance to the wider plan.
The work combined decision-making, team direction and accountability. Since 2023, Mark has continued as a consultant, bringing that operating experience into discussions about priorities, performance and the resources needed for further growth.
Explore leadership advisoryOperations that can support more demand.
Growing a service business requires more than generating enquiries. The operation has to be able to fulfil the demand it creates. Mark’s full-business remit brought operational planning into the growth agenda, connecting service delivery, staffing requirements and commercial priorities.
Capacity and customer experience had to be considered alongside marketing activity. The purpose was to build a business capable of supporting increased demand while keeping attention on the service that customers received.
Explore operations consultancyGreater marketing investment. Better efficiency.
Mark increased marketing spend while working to improve marketing efficiency. The focus was on how investment supported the wider business, with acquisition decisions considered alongside customer retention, operational capacity and the financial plan.
Budget decisions formed part of an ongoing management process: understand performance, identify the next opportunity and assess the resources required to support it. That kept marketing connected to the financial and operating plan as spending increased.
Explore marketing strategyCustomer retention as a growth priority.
Increasing customer retention was an explicit part of the work. For a taxi business, the commercial relationship can extend beyond a single journey. Keeping customers returning therefore belonged alongside new-customer acquisition in the growth plan.
The remit connected the customer experience with the business’s commercial objectives. Retention received attention as a management priority, so growth was considered through both winning demand and maintaining the relationships already built.
Explore sales and customer experienceCustomer processes connected to the business.
With responsibility across the whole business, the customer-facing processes and systems sat within the CEO remit. The focus was on how enquiries, bookings and customer relationships connected to service delivery and the wider commercial plan.
This is the customer-systems side of the engagement: bringing the customer journey into the same management view as marketing, operations and retention. The value of those systems lay in supporting the way the business worked, from the initial customer contact through to the ongoing relationship.

Mark mapped out the business forecasts so that growth decisions could be considered against the spending and staffing needed to support them. Forecasting brought the revenue ambition, advertising investment and resource requirements into a single financial view.
The work gave management a basis for comparing options and considering the implications of a larger business. That planning continues to support the next target: assessing what moving from AED 46.57m (£9.6m) to AED 58.21m (£12m) in annualised revenue would require, rather than treating the revenue goal as a standalone number.

Two phases.
Continued growth.
Annualised revenue increased by approximately AED 5.82m (£1.2m) during the 48-month CEO phase, followed by a further AED 17.46m (£3.6m) during the consulting phase.
The first phase moved the business from AED 23.28m (£4.8m) to AED 29.11m (£6m) in annualised revenue, a 25% increase. Since the transition to consulting in 2023, that figure has grown to AED 46.57m (£9.6m), a further 60% increase.
Across the two phases, the annualised revenue level has doubled. Mark also reports increased customer retention and improved marketing efficiency while increasing marketing spend.
The annualised figures are calculated from monthly revenue levels of £400,000, £500,000 and £800,000 respectively. They describe the revenue pace at each milestone, rather than the amount earned over a completed financial year.
THE NEXT CHAPTER
Planning the route
to AED 58.21m a year.
Mark continues to work with Go Green Taxis as a consultant. The next ambition is to reach approximately AED 58.21m (£12m) in annualised revenue within 18 months of October 2026.
That represents approximately AED 11.64m (£2.4m) above the current annualised level, or a further 25% increase. The target is based on reaching £1 million in monthly revenue. The work continues to connect the growth target with the marketing investment, staffing and operating plan needed to support it.
