THE BRIEF
Build the business
around the product.
1DS Collective wanted to launch AuthorityOS with a paying online community and a clear route into premium products.
The brief brought together acquisition, a recurring membership offer and a higher-ticket product ladder. Activ-8’s role extended across the business: commercial direction, hands-on launch support, CRM delivery, the Meta campaign and financial planning.
As fractional CEO, the job was to connect those decisions. The offer needed a route to market. The customer journey needed supporting systems. The growth plan needed a view of the advertising investment and people required to deliver it.
THE WORK
Commercial leadership.
Practical execution.
The engagement brought the launch activity and the wider business plan into one fractional CEO remit.
A commercial offer with room to grow.
The brief combined two ambitions: build a paying online community and develop an offer ladder of premium products. Activ-8 helped bring those ambitions into one commercial plan, connecting the entry offer with the higher-value opportunities beyond it.
The community created the recurring-revenue part of the model. Premium products provided a separate route for customers seeking a deeper level of support. Both needed to make sense as part of the same business.
A full CRM built in GoHighLevel.
Activ-8 built out the CRM in GoHighLevel to support the launch and its commercial follow-up. This gave the business a central system around which to organise customer relationships and the sales process.
The CRM work sat within the wider launch remit, alongside offer development and the customer journey. Its purpose was to support the movement from initial interest towards membership and premium-product conversations.
Meta acquisition, straight to the community.
Activ-8 developed a Meta campaign using static advertising creative, with traffic feeding directly into the Skool community. The campaign connected the offer with a defined destination where prospective members could take the next step.
The advertising sat within the wider launch plan, alongside the commercial offer and supporting systems. It gave prospective members a direct route from seeing the offer to exploring the community.
Advertising and staffing in the same forecast.
Activ-8 built a financial forecast to present options for advertising expenditure and the staffing required to support the business. It gave the client a way to compare growth scenarios and their resource requirements before committing to a particular level of investment.
The value was in seeing the decisions together: how much to invest in acquisition, what team would be needed, and how those choices affected the plan. Forecast assumptions remain separate from the launch results already achieved.
THE OUTCOME
Early traction.
Two revenue streams.
Within the first 30 days, AuthorityOS reached $10,000 in monthly recurring revenue and generated more than $30,000 in high-ticket sales.
The launch produced paying community revenue alongside premium-product sales. That gave 1DS Collective an initial result to build on across both parts of the offer ladder.
These figures describe different things. The $10,000 is the monthly recurring revenue level reached within the launch period. The $30,000-plus is high-ticket sales generated during the first 30 days. They are not presented as $40,000 of monthly recurring revenue or as profit.
THE NEXT CHAPTER
Scale with a view
of what it takes.
Activ-8 continues to assist with the next phase of growth in a fractional CEO role. The financial forecast helps present advertising-spend and staffing options against the client’s ambitions.
The next decisions concern the level of investment, the team required and the pace at which to expand. Scenario planning gives those decisions a structure while keeping assumptions visible.
